Eric is an award winning freelance photographer, living in Windermere, FL. His wide range of photographic interests include travel, professional motor sports, feature and portrait photography. Eric and his family recently relocated to the Orlando area after 38 years of life in Idaho.

Eric was actively involved as a volunteer in Eagle, Idaho, where he served on the Board of Directors for the Eagle Chamber of Commerce and recently served as Co-Chair of the Eagle City Hall Task Force, a committee put together by the city government to identify cost solutions for the City of Eagle. Eric also developed a successful recycling program implemented with Eagle's largest public event Eagle Fun Days. Over the past four years, Eric and the volunteers he organizes, have collected nearly 100 cubic yards of plastic bottles and cups. In June of 2011, he was awarded the Key to the City of Eagle in recognition of his volunteer work and his founding of the community camera club. Eric is a father to Alex and Anna, and husband to Jen.

Camera Club of Eagle
Eric enjoys sharing his passion for photography with others, which led him to form the Camera Club of Eagle in 2008.
The club was designed to provide an educational environment along with a social component that has resulted in a great club experience. With over 45 members the club meets twice monthly and places emphasis on education and group events. Eagle Fire Burnout Fund Calendar
In 2008 the Eagle Fire Department approached Eric with the idea of creating a calendar as a fundraiser for the Eagle Fire Burnout Fund. IN 2009 the first Eagle Fire Fighter Calendar was released, featuring 12 of Eagle's finest firefighters. The calendar raised several thousand dollars for the fund and a new tradition was started. Eric was thrilled to be a part of the effort and hopes the tradition will continue for years to come.

Feature Photography
Eric has a portfolio of magazine photo work that includes over 4 years as the principle photographer for lifestyle magazine Eagle Magazine. Eric stepped in as the primary photographer in 2004 and helped build this high end lifestyle magazine. Eric provided most cover photography as well as nearly all of the feature photography. In 2006 Eric started producing photos for Meridian in the Middle magazine, a sister publication of Eagle Magazine. He left the post in 2008 to pursue various civic roles in Eagle.

Motorsport Photography
In 2005 Eric landed the cover shot of one of the largest ATV racing magazines in the United States. ATV Sport chose Eric's dramatic photograph of off-road racing champion Doug Eichner as their cover for their March 2005 issue. ATV Sport also placed several photos by Eric with their coverage of the WORCS Off Road Series event that took place in Payette, Idaho. Eric's images have also appeared in Bike Magazine as well as Men's Health Journal magazine.

Indy Car Racing - 2011: Eric photographed the Long Beach Grand Prix for the LBGP Association.

Champ Car Racing - 2003-2007: In 2003 Eric began shooting the intense high speed world of professional open wheel racing. A lifelong passion, motor racing is one of Eric's favorite subjects. In this time frame Eric shot occasional events for world wide motor sports photo agency LAT Photography USA.
